From the beginning, still in the design of the house, one of the main concerns was the conscious use of wood. We did not want to use eucalyptus and any other type of timber logging or monoculture, we know the damage they cause to naureza. Then, following the idea of ​​take advantage of the maximum possible local raw materials, we see plenty of wood around the farm where we live. Another gift of mother eart that we accept with joy and respect.
Most of the wood used for our home are taken from already fallen trees and treated by water where they were. A second part of them used for the roof structure, came from local species (Biriba, Mandau and Mundururu) born in clumps. This means that the conscious pruning allows the plant to grow even stronger.
We are fortunate to have with us Messiah, a resident of the region, wood master, a figure that guides us through the woods, teaches us every day about respect and guarantee us a beautiful handling and no damage to the fauna and flora of the region.
